December   "A Tranquil World – Chinese Ink & Wash Painting Exhibition of Mr. Xu-Yi Wen" Date : 5-11/1/2009 (Mon-Sun) Time : 9am-8pm Presenter: Christian Joyful Spirit Life Development Centre Introduction: Mr. Xu's painting, calligraphy and poetry works are of great attainments. He has made remarkable contributions to the revolution and artistic thinking of Chinese Ink and Wash Painting. Though Mr. Xu has endured hardship in life, he believes the ultimate goal of art is to present the truth, goodness, beauty and not an outlet for sufferings. His recent works on lotus—A Tranquil World—demonstrate vividly his peaceful and optimistic ways of life.
