Lunchtime Pipe Organ Concert in January
Winnie Chan, Helon Kwan, Boaz Nit, Phoebe Tam and Jim Wu

Winnie Chan
Winnie Chan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture of the University of Manchester, a Master of Science in Environmental Management of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a Master of Science in Intelligent Building Management of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. As for music, Ms. Chan obtained ATCL and LTCL in Piano Performance and Grade 8 Certificates in Theory and Piano from ABRSM. As a full time piano and music theory teacher, she teaches theory classes for the Christian Choirs of the University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and she is also the organist and choir accompanist at Diamond Hill Baptist Church. Winnie completed a Master of Arts in Music in the Hong Kong Baptist University in June 2008, majoring in choral conducting, and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Christian Studies in the Divinity School of Chung Chi College of the Chinese University of Hong Kong since September of this year.
Helon Kwan
Helon Kwan is studying the second year of an Associate Degree in Music at the Hong Kong Institute of Education, and obtained Grade 8 Certificates in Piano, Theory and Organ from the ABRSM in 2005, 2007 and 2008 respectively. She is now studying the organ with Mr. Gary Tong and the flute with Mr. Cheung Chi Yong. She also serves as an organist and choir member at Diamond Hill Baptist Church.
Boaz Nit
Boaz Nit, aged 13, is now studying Form 2 at St. Paul¡¦s College. He obtained a Grade 5 Certificate in Theory and Grade 8 Certificates in Piano and Violin from ABRSM. He plays the second violin section of the school orchestra, sings for the treble choir and serves as an assembly pianist. He also serves as a pianist for services at Tsung Tsin Mission of Hong Kong Kau Yan Church. Boaz is now studying the piano and the organ with Mr. Gary Tong.
Phoebe Tam
Phoebe Tam graduated from the Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIE), majoring in music, and subsequently from the Hong Kong Baptist University, majoring in Chinese. Having started her piano studies at the age of 6, Phoebe obtained Grade 8 Certificates in Piano and Theory from ABRSM in 1997 and 2003 respectively. She also obtained a Grade 8 Certificate in Voice from ABRSM with distinction in 2002. She was the vice-chairlady of the Music Society, the erhu player of the Chinese Orchestra and a member of the Choir and Handbell Choir of HKIE. Phoebe is now a member of Sen Lok Christian Church, where she conducts the choir, and serves as a pianist and organist. She was also involved with the church¡¦s last two CD productions. As a music teacher in school, Phoebe is now studying the organ with Mr. Gary Tong, and sings for the Resonance Chanters Christian Choir.
Jim Wu
Jim Wu graduated from the Department of Social Work and Social Administration at the University of Hong Kong, and works as a social worker in a rehabilitation centre. Jim obtained a Grade 5 Certificate in Theory and a Grade 8 Certificate in Piano from ABRSM in 1997 and 1999 respectively. She is now studying the organ with Mr. Gary Tong and is the organist at Diamond Hill Baptist Church.

Free tickets are distributed at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Enquiry Counter (9am - 9pm) from 9 January 2009 onwards. Each patron is limited to a maximum of 4 tickets on a first-come-first-served basis. Children under the age of 6 will not be admitted.
Members of the audience are strongly advised to arrive punctually. Latecomers will be admitted by the end of the first music piece and no admission after this point.
Running time of the concert is about 40 minutes without intermission.
